- 78%rise in sales from AI visits
- 95%+of AI-driven transactions came from ChatGPT
- 36.5%more sales that AI helped with, against the year before
What the agency did
The SEO Works checked the site and listed what shoppers were looking for. Then it split each product, category and guide page into clear blocks that AI tools and search engines can use as answers. It showed more of what the brand knows, like product facts, where the coffee comes from and real experience. It also added a page for the brand's café.
It also checked the site's data code, with a plan to add FAQs and product details. It linked brewing guides, blends and how-to pages together. And it suggested ways to get the brand mentioned more in forums. Special tracking split out visits from AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini. So the brand could see its sales from AI for the first time.
The results
Within twelve months, visits from AI grew from a few to a steady stream, with a 91% engagement rate. AI-assisted conversions rose 36.5% year on year, site searches rose 182% and product quiz completions rose 247%.
Sales directly attributed to AI referrals rose 78%, and ChatGPT made up more than 95% of AI-driven transactions. AI shoppers often bought pricier things like espresso machines, gift subscriptions and brewing gear. The brand's best-known blend became the top product from AI, with sales up 900% on the year before.
What other stores can take from this
- Break pages into clear answers. The agency split product and guide pages into blocks that AI tools can quote.
- Show where your products come from. Origin details and real expertise were added to build trust.
- Track AI on its own. Special tracking let the brand see AI visits, orders and sales apart from normal search for the first time.
Worth knowing: This is an agency case study we rate low on trust. The brand only shows up as a logo, and the text says "this leading coffee brand". The 78% has no starting number, and no one at the brand is quoted.
